Police in Conroe have arrested a man after he allegedly followed his victim home from the bank and held him up.

At about 5:30pm Tuesday, a 20-year-old man made a withdrawal from the Woodforest National Bank inside the Fruitlandia grocery store in the 500 block of S. Frazier. The man left the bank with a large amount of cash.

Police say the man feared he was being followed, and didn't want to go home, so he pulled over in a parking lot at a local park. That's when a man pulled up next to him and blocked his car with his vehicle.

The suspect jumped out of his car and pulled a gun on the victim, demanding his wallet. The victim complied, handing over the wallet to the suspect, who then took off.

The victim went back to the bank and called police. Conroe police officers say they were able to identify a suspect through witness statements, video surveillance and further investigation.

Jose Emilo Mandujano, 30, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
