Police: Resident stabbed after walking in on burglary in Missouri City

MISSOURI CITY, TX

It happened at a home in the 1900 block of Skipwood on March 8 at around 2:30pm. Police say when they arrived, they found the victim on the floor near the front door with a stab wound to his chest.

The resident told police it happened when he got home from school. He said when he walked in the house, he noticed a man sitting in his living room.

The victim says the suspect charged him and held him at knifepoint against the wall. The suspect then reportedly yelled to another person in the back of the house.

After that, the victim told police the suspect stabbed him in the chest, then ran out the back door.

Police say the house was ransacked and that the suspects were trying to get electronics, jewelry and other property when the victim arrived.

The victim says the suspect who stabbed him was an African-American male, standing 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with light skin. He had a close-shaven beard with a mustache and short black hair. The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt with a picture of Bob Marley on it and a tattoo on his right forearm with unknown writing.
