Police say the driver is a young woman who wasn't intoxicated, but lost control of her SUV at around 11am while parking in front of the Charde Silversmith store on the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Kirby, leaving chards of glass across the ground.
The crash happened while employees were working, but no customers were inside during the accident and authorities say no one was injured.
There's also structural damage to a clothing store next door. Both stores are back open for business.
The car has been towed away. Damages will not be repaired until Monday. We're told there will be a security guard on the scene 24 hours a day until repairs are made.
