Dennis Wayne Brown III of Madisonville was being held Tuesday at the county jail, charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Bryan police say the vehicle was taken from a home that burned early Monday morning. Police believe the bodies found in the wreckage are those of Noel Devin and her father Thomas Devin, but are using dental records for verification. The Eagle newspaper reports Noel Devin owned both the home and the SUV.
A police report says evidence of arson was found at the home.
Police traced the SUV to a motel in the area and arrested the 34-year-old Brown.
