Surveillance video released in Jacinto City robbery

The owner was assaulted as he tried to open the store Saturday

Surveillance video could be the key to finding two men who held up a convenience store clerk in Jacinto City Saturday morning.

The video shows the clerk as he tried to unlock and open the Market Stop. A man in a hoodie approached him from behind and pistol whipped him.

They took the money bag the clerk was holding for the register, then ran. The clerk was able to make it to a neighboring business to call 911.
