Naked burglary suspect tells Georgia police he's trying to become president

HOUSTON

Police in Johns Creek say 21-year-old Ashdon Gibbs walked into a home owned by a city council member, wearing nothing but a cowboy hat.

Officers later found him down the street wearing clothes they say he stole from another house. Gibbs apparently used a lawn ornament to smash the window, then went inside and made himself at home.

"Sat in the chair. He likes the Braves. So he went and hand a good time watching the Braves while he was drinking his beer," burglary victim Bob Johnson said.

Gibbs must also be a fan of The King of Rock and Roll, because he played some Elvis songs in a vintage jukebox in the living room.

When officers caught up with him, Gibbs claimed to be a U.S. marshal and said he was trying to become president.
