According to WSET-TV in Lynchburg, Virginia, Sunnie Kahle's grandparents say the school claimed students were confused about Kahle's gender.
The school said Kahle should not re-enroll at the school if her family condoned sexual immorality, homosexuality or alternative gender identity.
