Friendswood police say just in the last week they've nabbed more than a dozen people who played a part in the buying and selling of crystal methamphetamine.

On March 18, at about 3:15am, Ryan Ellison Dillon, 33, of Alvin, and Nickie Webster, 30, of Hitchcock, were charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 after Dillon was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1700 block of FM 528.

Just 10 minutes later, Mindy Lee Lucas, 32, of League City, was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 and Travis Earl Wooldridge, 21, of Lake Jackson, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 3. An officer was checking on a suspicious vehicle at an apartment complex in the 1800 block of FM 528 when Lucas allegedly tried to throw a lit marijuana pipe out the car window, but the window was still rolled up.

The following day, on March 19 at about 2:45pm, Friendswood officers say they witnessed a drug transaction occurring in a Jack in the Box parking lot, and their attempt to arrest those involved turned into a chase, with drugs allegedly being thrown out of the vehicle during the pursuit. As a result, Christopher Scott Hearen, 37, of Texas City, was charged with aggravated assault, failure to stop and render aid and evading arrest. Daniel Rodriguez, 39, of Austin, was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. Crystal Ann Manning, 32, of Kemah, was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. Brian Allen Buck, Jr., 36, of Alvin, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Then on March 21 at 4:30pm, Carina Nicole Partridge, 29, of Houston, was charged with multiple charges of drug possession after she was stopped for a traffic violation in the 400 block of E. Edgewood Drive. As the officer was taking Partridge into custody, police say she reached into her clothing and pulled out a pack of methamphetamine.

On Saturday, March 22 at 2:17am, Richard Wayne Napper, 44, of Houston, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 when an officer patrolling the parking lot of the Bridgestone Apartments located at 4949 FM 2351 began questioning him.

Police add that two others were arrested for meth-related charges on March 17. Ariel Morgan Ellis, 24, of Webster was arrested on a warrant in Harris County charging her with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1.
