Texans Bill O'Brien: We'll take a QB in draft, but...

HOUSTON

New Texans Coach Bill O'Brien said on Monday his team will take a quarterback in May's NFL draft. But O'Brien also said he doesn't know yet which quarterback or what round.

O'Brien told the NFL Network the Texans evaluation process continues. They'll continue to see prospects in person at their pro days.

That will include Thursday at A&M to see Johnny Manziel.

O'Brien added he thinks there are 10-12 draft eligible quarterbacks that need to be evaluated. He rattled off names like Alabama's AJ McCarron, LSU's Zach Mettenberger and Pitt's Tom Savage, in addition to Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater and MANZIEL.
