The fire started around 2am at a one-story home on Terry near Bunton.
The home was boarded up. There was heavy fire coming from the rear of the home when firefighters arrived.
They knocked down flames and then did a walk through. That is when they discovered a body in a back bedroom. They do not know who it is or how that person died.
Homicide investigators have been called in. The cause of the fire is also under investigation.
