Detectives: Love triangle prompts shooting at NW Harris County store

March 18, 2014 6:04:33 PM PDT
A shooting at a northwest Harris County store left one man injured, and authorities believe the victim and suspect may be involved in a love triangle.

Harris County Sheriff's Office officials say the two men began arguing inside a store in the 6000 block of West FM 1960 and that escalated into a physical fight. The man who lost the fight then went out to his car, got a gun, returned to the store and shot the other man twice.

The victim was transported via LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The suspect is being detained as investigators review video of the incident.

Detectives believe one of the men is the ex-husband of a woman the other man is currently dating.
