John Anthony Castro, 18, and 17-year-old Ryan Edward Belasquez are being held at the Wharton County Jail in connection to the slaying of Caleb Ormand.
Authorities say someone discovered Ormand's body last week on the side of the road at CR 216 and called them. An autopsy determined the 19-year-old had died from a gunshot wound to the head.
The Wharton County Sheriff's Office wouldn't offer any additional details, but an investigation detectives led to Castro and Belasquez.
