Witnesses tell us that a child was practicing driving with his father at a complex on Antoine near Veterans Memorial when he hit a pickup truck, sending the truck crashing into one of the apartment units.
No one was hurt, but the truck left a huge hole in one of the apartment walls. A family with four children lives in that apartment and was home at the time of the crash.
"Something crashed into the house and it sounded like a bomb or something," said resident Kimberly Merida. "And my mom was crying cause she thought something bad happened to us."
There's no word on if the residents of that apartment have been moved to another unit.
