A teenager took Harris County deputies on a high speed chase through north Houston overnight, reaching speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

It started in the parking lot of a Home Depot along Highway 59 and Little York just before 10pm and ended at a home on Golf and 34th Street.

Deputies say they tried to stop a blue SUV that was doing 'donuts' in the store parking lot, but the driver took off along Little York, running several red lights and stop signs. The chase lasted about 20 minutes before finally coming to a stop at a random home.

The driver tried to get away. Deputies quickly caught up with him and had to use a Taser to get him to stop running.

The 19-year-old suspect is being charged with felony evading.
