It happened around 12:15am early Sunday morning at the intersection of FM 1960 and the West Lake Houston Parkway.
Witnesses tell deputies the driver of a silver Trailblazer ran a red light and hit a red Corvette. The driver of the Corvette was killed. His passenger was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
The driver of the Trailblazer was taken into custody and is facing charges of intoxication manslaughter.
