A Houston woman who claimed she needed rent money is now facing a felony charge after stealing $10 from an acquaintenance.

Angela Evett Moore, 39, is accused of knocking on an acquaintence's door and telling him she needed help paying her rent. The man says he invited Moore into his apartment, but when she asked him for $1,000 he told her he didn't have any money.

The man told police Moore got violent, pushing him and demanding money from his wallet. He says she got angry when he refused, attacking and punching him and throwing him to the floor.

Court documents state that Moore kicked the victim as he lay on the floor, grabbed a knife from a counter and threatened him, "You better give me money or you know what you're going to get."

The victim told police that Moore is a large woman who over-powered him, and being in fear for his life, he gave her $10 and she fled.
