Search continues for Katy-area clothing store robber

HOUSTON

The robbery happened around 5pm on January 9 at a store in the 2400 block of Fry Road.

Detectives say the suspect approached the service counter and put on a hat from a bag he'd carried inside with him. He then told an employee he had a gun and demanded the all the money in the cash register.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male between 30 and 35 years of age, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs between 225-235 pounds. He was wearing a multi-colored hat, a long sleeve red shirt and black sweat pants.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at (713) 222-TIPS (8477).
