The actress is seven months pregnant in real life, but will still play the fashionista crisis manager on the hit show.
Scandal's costume designer, Lyn Paolo took Glamour Magazine behind the scenes to show just how they're hiding that baby bump in the new episodes.
"There might be some darker colors coming," Paolo said. "Fortunately what fashion is doing right now is great for us because there's all these swing coats and the pleated backs to all these dresses. Stella McCartney and Dior have been go-to amazing designers for any lady who may be pregnant."
The designer also said that there may be some "new Prada purses" to hide the bump. And when Olivia Pope has to run, she'll be wearing wedges instead of sky high stilettos.
Glamour asked Paolo which of Olivia Pope's looks has been her favorite so far.
"I really love the white Burberry trench coat. I literally had the set painted a different color because of it! Mellie was in purple, and Fitz is sitting on the sofa in between those two women. I just love that scene," she gushed.
