Firefighters were called out to the home in the town of Wheelock around 6:45pm Saturday.
Officials tell us they had problems putting out the flames due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area. When they searched the home a few hours later the body of the victim was discovered in back of the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
