Great Texas Warrant Round-up beginning March 1

HOUSTON

HPD and other agencies in Harris, Galveston, Fort Bend and Waller counties will help the Texas Attorney General's fugitive apprehension unit.

They are all going to look for people with outstanding warrants beginning March 1. Authorities say they will go after fugitives anywhere -- their homes, school, or where they work.

Notices are being mailed to all Houston defendants with active warrants. If you have warrants in other jurisdictions, you'll need to contact them.

A complete list of participating regional partners can be found at www.houstontx.gov/courts.

For more information about warrants or citations visit the website at www.houstontx.gov/courts or contact City's Helpline at 311 or 713-837-0311, if outside the city.
