The Houston Police Department is joining among 300 law enforcement jurisdictions across Texas in the 2014 Great Texas Warrant Round-up.

HPD and other agencies in Harris, Galveston, Fort Bend and Waller counties will help the Texas Attorney General's fugitive apprehension unit.

They are all going to look for people with outstanding warrants beginning March 1. Authorities say they will go after fugitives anywhere -- their homes, school, or where they work.

Notices are being mailed to all Houston defendants with active warrants. If you have warrants in other jurisdictions, you'll need to contact them.
