Scientists: No need to diet on weekends to lose weight

Do you like to unwind on the weekend? Try giving your diet a break. You may lose more weight if you go off your diet on weekends!

Researchers found people tend to lose weight Tuesdays through Fridays.

A team of American and Finnish scientists say the successful dieters lost weight even if they took the weekends off. They theorize that relentless dieting isn't in human nature.

So maybe you can afford to take a diet break on the weekends. It just might help you stick to your diet on those critical Tuesdays through Fridays.
