Suspected drunk driver collides with police cruiser

HOUSTON

The crash happened on Almeda and MacGregor.

Police tell us the driver was speeding as she veered into the path of an oncoming police cruiser. The driver clipped the cruiser and crashed into a ditch.

The woman behind the wheel was arrested and will be tested for alcohol. Two officers in the cruiser were not hurt.
