5-year-old Fresno boy describes his little brother's murder

FRESNO, CA

ABC30 Action News in Fresno uncovered new details in the death of three-year-old Zion Nelson, including the first account of what his older brother told police.

Zion's father, Donald Nelson, is accused in the murder. He admitted to whipping the boy before he called 911, according to ABC30 reports. Police found the boy naked and lifeless, and CPR couldn't revive him.

Officers reportedly seized several possible weapons from the home the father shared with Moneesha Camp, who is also charged with murder.

Zion's five-year-old brother described his father beating Zion with coat hangers and wire, and he said Camp beat him as well, ABC30 reports.

Nelson has said he's responsible for his son's death, not Camp. They're both due back in court in three weeks.
