Teens take on sexting issues with HPD

HOUSTON

Members of the Youth Police Advisory Council sat down with HPD Chief Charles McClelland to offer a teenage perspective on the issue. They mentioned the scandal at Baytown Lee High School, in which male students were accused of posting sexual photos of female students on Instagram.

"I feel like the blame is always put on the females," said student Caitlyn Floyd. "We're always known as provocative. But I feel like boys can be provocative as well. They also take pictures and send it to girls when they are trying to reach out and grab their attention."

The teens also discussed dating violence and human trafficking.
