Authorities investigating robbery at Family Dollar store in northwest Houston

HOUSTON

The last robbery happened around 8:30pm at Family Dollar in the 500 block of Crosstimbers.

Authorities say three men with guns stole money from the register and customers inside the store before taking off. The suspects were wearing ski masks and hooded sweatshirts.

Investigators say based on their descriptions and surveillance video, they believe the suspects are tied to at least three other robberies in northwest Houston within 24 hours -- one at a gas station off 43rd Street and Highway 290, a restaurant on North Houston Rosslyn and a third business.

Police don't have a description for their getaway vehicle, but they're hoping to be able to identify at least one of the suspects with evidence they've gathered from the crimes.
