A reward is being offered if you can help investigators find the man who tried to rob a west Harris County restaurant. They hope newly-released video will help.

It happened around 8:30pm on November 24 at a restaurant in the 4900 block of North Highway 6. According to an employee there, the suspect approached the counter with his hands in his pockets, appearing to hold a gun.

The suspect then reportedly ordered the victim to give him money from the register, but the employee was unable to open it. The employee said that's when the suspect took off on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male between 25 and 30 years of age, standing between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 155 to 175 pounds. At the time of the offense the suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shorts.
