The suspects are described as black 20 year-old males. One suspect was wearing a black jacket with fur around the hood and dark jeans. The other wore a dark shirt, dark jeans, and a black toboggan. At least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.
Police say the men should be considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities say Malcolm Trevell Lamar has recently been staying at motels along S. Eastern Boulevard and Cedar Creek Road.
Detectives have charged and obtained warrants against Autry for the following offenses: robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, and larceny of a motor vehicle.
Police are also searching for Corey Lamont McMillain.
The North Carolina Department of Corrections also wants McMillain for breaking probation.
The first robbery took place around 8:45 p.m. at Slow Joe Customs on Bragg Boulevard. The suspects entered one of the open garage bay doors and made demands to employees inside . One employee was able to flee out of a rear door and the suspects fled the scene without obtaining any property from the victims.
The next robbery took place at the the YaYa Food Mart on Murchison Road just after 10 p.m. Police said the suspects approached a man in his vehicle in the parking lot and demanded money. One of the suspects hit the victim in the head with a handgun. The victim was able to get away, but the suspects stole his 1993 yellow Chevrolet Caprice. The vehicle was later found after it had been crashed along Murchison Road.
Less than 15 minutes after that robbery, another was reported at the Cumberland Food Mart on Cumberland Street. This time the two suspects allegedly forced a victim in the parking lot to the ground and took money from his pants. The suspects then fled the area.
The last reported robbery took place just before 1:15 a.m. at the Kangaroo convenience store on Pamalee Drive. Again, police said the suspects tried to rob someone in the parking lot. This time the victim was able to flee without giving them anything.
