Just before 7:30am Friday, Texas City police received a call of a vehicle submerged in the water in the 4000 block of Dike Road. Authorities arrived to find a dark colored SUV submerged in the water.
One victim was found dead in the vehicle. His identity has not been determined, but he is described as a white male in his mid 40's.
At this point in the investigation, police believe this was a single vehicle accident with one occupant in the vehicle.
