A busy dinner hour was interrupted when armed men burst in and robbed customers at a northwest Houston restaurant.

It happened around 7pm as customers were eating dinner at the Hartz Chicken in the 57000 block of Hollister St. near Tidwell.

Those inside say two armed men wearing bandanas to cover their faces stormed into the restaurant and robbed the place in about a minute.

The suspects took about $500 from the register and demanded everyone else's wallets.

"If you made one wrong move, they would shoot you. They said, 'Don't look at us! Don't look at us!' So I just froze and put my wallet there," witness Robert Garcia said.

About 10 customers were inside the store at the robbery, but no one was injured in the robbery.

Authorities are still reviewing surveillance footage.
