Woman shot in the buttocks in northeast Houston

HOUSTON

It happened around 11:30pm. Police say she was shot while inside a car.

She reportedly got out of the car and ran to a nearby gas station on the Eastex Freeway at Homestead, where she called 911.

We're told she is expected to be OK.

The motive is unclear, and the shooter remains on the run.
