Robber drops most of his stash in northwest Harris County jewelry store heist

HOUSTON

Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the call around 10:15am at a Zales Outlet on FM 1960.

A man reportedly walked into the store and held it up at gunpoint, demanding jewelry.

Investigators said the robber got away with some items, but he dropped most of his cache as he fled on foot.

The items the man dropped were recovered, but the suspect remains at large.

There were no reports of injuries. No suspect description has been released.
