The Harris County Sheriff's Office says that at about 9pm Tuesday, they were called to an apartment complex in the 15900 block of FM 529 in northwest Harris County. A woman had reportedly gone to her family members and confessed to killing her husband, then fatally shot herself.
The investigation led to an apartment unit in the 1600 block of W. Tidwell, where about an hour and a half later Houston police found the woman's husband shot to death.
There's no word on the motive for the apparent murder-suicide.
