Kathryn Ann Moore, 44, was scheduled to appear in court to hand over five-year-old Patricia Brite Read and two-year-old William Jesse Moore to their father Richard Read, who has joint custody of the children.
Authorities say Moore never showed up to court, and when authorities stopped by her home, they determined that she'd left with her children.
Moore is now wanted on a nationwide felony warrant for child concealment, and authorities are now searching for her and the kids. Moore has family in Tomball, and authorities believe she may have come to visit them.
She is believed to be driving a 1985 Chevrolet van with the Nevada license plates 270YRY.
The children aren't believed to be in danger, so no Amber Alert has been issued in this case. However, the information has been given to the The Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Anyone who has information regarding Moore's whereabouts is asked to contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.
