Colt Morgan is accused of killing his girlfriend, burning her body and burying it outside her Cypress home. Now, after weeks on the run, authorities say they have him in custody.

Morgan is wanted for the murder of his fiancée, Wende Marshall. She disappeared at the end of October. The Harris County Sheriff's Office says he burned her body inside her Cypress area home. Some of her remains were found buried on the property.

Last month a police officer in Buffalo, which is halfway to Dallas, had Morgan in his custody, but Morgan managed to get away during a violent struggle.

According to the Leon County Sheriff's Office, Morgan was taken into custody around lunchtime Tuesday.
