Tamika Patrice Taylor, 41, faces two charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a child back in 2012. According to court documents, the boy, who lived in the same apartment complex as Taylor, told police to the relationship began when she showed him sexual photos of herself and they began talking on the phone.
The boy said he and Taylor had sex on multiple occasions at her apartment between August 2012 and December 2012, when he was 14 years old.
The relationship came to light when the boy's mother discovered photos and text messages on her son's phone. Although Taylor denied the relationship when the teen's mother confronted her, police say Taylor eventually confessed to detectives.
Bond for Taylor's charges has been set at $80,000.
