It travels North Main from downtown and up Fulton to Crosstimbers. METRO is currently training operators and testing tracks, trains and signaling equipment to make sure they are working properly.
Chief Operating Officer Andrew Skabowski said, "We go through a number of different drills, a number of different scenarios and make sure everyone understands how we operate in abnormal situations."
Scheduled passenger service on the new section of the line is expected to begin at the end of the month.
