Greg and Stacye Terry are still laughing about the unexpected bang for their buck they got during a routine trip through the McDonald's drive thru. While sometimes it's not unexpected to get something other than what you ordered, the Terrys were shocked to find three clear bags filled with money inside a regular McDonalds to-go bag.
A McDonalds employee discovered the mistake quickly as well, the upset worker was able to catch up with the couple. They immediately returned all the money, which was the restaurant's bank deposit, without thinking twice.
The McDonalds owner gave a statement of gratitude: "We are grateful for this customer and the action they took upon realizing our error. We are looking into why this mistake happened, but what is most important to us is knowing that we are part of a community with the values that were evidenced by this person's actions."
