It happened Wednesday afternoon at a home in the 4700 block of Nina Lee Lane.
The woman had climbed into her attic to get her Christmas decorations. She fell half way through the attic floor and screamed for help. Her daughter ran to get their neighbor, Max Garcia.
"She was ready to fall through by the time I got there," Garcia said. "She was already letting go so I grabbed onto her and held her up and pulled her up and dialed 911 for the fire department to come and help me."
Garcia held onto her for 15 minutes before firefighters arrived and got her down. The woman suffered a broken arm.
