Authorities are reaching out to the public for information that could lead them to the group of vandals who spray painted graffiti on the mock space shuttle at Space Center Houston in Clear Lake.

The incident happened on Wednesday morning. Several phrases, including "sorry drugs made me do it," were spray painted on the Shuttle Independence.

According to the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable's Office, a group of males were seen on the property around 5:30am, but it's still unclear if any of them are responsible for the vandalism. At least two of the males were on skateboards.

Authorities say they have few leads right now and are encouraging anyone with information about the crime to come forward.
