It happened around 10pm on Joseph Road at Pinewood Valley Drive, near the Montgomery County line.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers said the pickup truck was in the process of making a left turn and failed to yield to the motorcycle. That's when the motorcycle reportedly crashed into the side of the truck.
The 58-year-old motorcycle rider died at the scene.
It's not yet clear whether the pickup driver was hurt or if he will face any charges.
