In the most recent episode, Brian got hit by a car and died. He was then replaced by another dog named "Vinnie", whose voice is provided by actor Tony Sirico. You'll remember him as Paulie Walnuts of 'The Sopranos.'
Brian was a martini-swigging dog and arguably the smartest character on the show. That's why he had a large following. Fans have already created a petition on Facebook to bring Brian back. As of this morning, it had 300,000 likes.
