Special artists putting their creativity on display

ROSENBERG, TX

"I was born to be on TV," 33-year-old Amy Crane exclaimed, without taking her eyes off her elaborate flower painting.

Crane is one of several developmentally disabled adults who attends the Texana Learning Center in Rosenberg.

The learning center encourages its clients to participate in art projects, which they sell at several local businesses.

Today, they will be selling crafts at the the First annual Texana Tinsel and Treasures Art Show and Marketplace at the Legacy Ford showroom.

Texana has six booths in the show. 35 other vendors are also partcipating. All of them are donating a portion of their proceeds to the Texana Center.

The show goes from 4pm to 9pm.
