It happened on the eastbound feeder road of Beltway 8 near Bammel Road after investigators say a Chevy sedan broke down. The male driver and passenger had gotten out to push it when a car driven by a woman who was traveling with her baby hit it from behind.
The passenger from the first car, who has only been identified as a male between the ages of 18 and 20, was killed.
The woman was taken a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries. The driver of the first car and the baby in the second car weren't seriously injured.
The accident is under investigation. No charges have been filed to this point.
