The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says the child stole his dad's Mustang and led officers on a high-speed chase down state Highway 105 Monday afternoon.
At one point, the car was going 80 miles an hour. They say the car overheated before finally coming to a stop.
The 12-year-old driver, along with a 15- and 16-year-old passenger, were all taken into custody.
