The shooting happened around 8pm in an apartment complex parking lot on Fair Oaks at Brookside.
According to police, the 19-year-old victim and his alleged killer had been arguing for months. The details of their dispute were unclear, but it all came to a head last night.
Authorities said the men were arguing at a gas station before the alleged shooter reportedly followed the victim back to the apartment complex.
"Apparently they started an argument at a gas station. Not sure what happened at the gas station," LaTonya Bailey with HPD Homicide said. "It ended here with gunfire."
A woman was with the victim at the time of the shooting. She was not injured.
Police have not released a description of the suspect, but say they are looking for a white Toyota Corolla sedan.
