Suspects wanted for beating death at car wash

HOUSTON

Investigators say two unidentified men were seen on camera robbing and beating a man around 8:35pm during an attempted carjacking at a car wash located at 16282 Imperial Valley on Saturday, November 2.

The victim, Pablo Hernandez, was attempting to wash his 2007 Hummer. Police say they believe the suspects followed Hernandez to the car wash and waited for an opportunity to attack him. Several witnesses heard the victim screaming. Police say the suspects ran off when witnesses rushed to Hernandez's aid.

Investigators say the suspects took the keys to Hernandez's Hummer after beating him in the head with a gun. Hernandez was rushed to a hospital where he died the next day as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.

The suspects were driving a silver colored PT Cruiser. Police day that vehicle is missing a hubcap on the front driver's side, and it has a dent along the length of the driver's side.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspects to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
