Deputies say the teen was traveling eastbound in the center lane of Louetta at Memorial Falls last night, when he suddenly cut across the eastbound lanes into the path of an SUV.
The driver was unable to stop in time and hit him. The boy died at the scene. Deputies say the victim's bike was not equipped with any reflectors or lights. The driver will not be charged.
