School worker accused of sexually assaulting 5-year-old boy

HOUSTON

The five-year-old's mother describes what allegedly happened to her son on campus as sickening, and she wants to know if any other young victims may be involved.

"I feel sick," she said. "I mean, I thought the school was watching over my son."

This mom, who doesn't want to be identified, says she's upset but wants to speak out about what allegedly happened to her young son inside Gloria Marshall Elementary School. She says this week her five-year-old made an outcry, saying a man who works at the Spring ISD campus has been sexually assaulting him.

The mother said, "He said he put a gun to his head and threatened him not to tell us."

The woman says her son told her the school district employee, who's now under investigation, led him into a closet in the building and began fondling him. The mom says her son claims it happened several times over the past month.

"It makes me sick," she said. "It makes me sick. I just want the guy locked up."

A spokeswoman from Spring ISD confirmed the district's police department is now actively investigating the allegations made against the unidentified employee, who has been placed on administrative leave.
