Air Force Lt. Caton Hammock was gone for a year and 277 days in the service of our country. On Saturday, he surprised his daughters by showing up unannounced at a pep rally at their school.
Hammock has two daughters who attend East Bernard High School in northeast Wharton County.
The school helped facilitate the tearful reunion and keep Hammock's return a surprise for his kids.
