A teen was behind bars Sunday and another suspect remained at large, both accused of breaking into an apartment in Montgomery County this weekend.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call around 11:45am Saturday about a burglary in process at an apartment in the 200 block of Pruitt Road.

According to authorities, the caller said two males kicked in the door of a unit and were seen leaving with items from the apartment a short time later.

MCSO investigators showed up just as the suspects were trying to leave the scene. When the alleged burglars saw the deputies, they reportedly took off running.

Officials said one of the suspects was arrested after a brief foot chase. He was identified as Traymond Jaqualiyn Porch, 17. Porch is charged with burglary of a habitation.

Porch's alleged accomplice was last seen jumping into a waiting vehicle nearby. He has not been located.

Deputies said no one was injured during the crime, and the property that was stolen from the residence was recovered.
